Holiday Decor

Our new home is mostly french country with some modern and industrial accents, where our previous home was slightly more modern with urban undertones. So this year for our first holiday season in Connecticut, I wanted new decor that complimented the gray and white color scheme without adding the fussy, traditional plaids, golds, and red and green. I did most of our holiday home shopping at Pottery Barn, a perennial favorite, and got some great sales.

One piece that has been missing from my home since we purchased it in 2011 and then designed each room on our own has been a fabulous bar cart. Since I have perpetually on a tight budget, all the choices I would fall for were actually affordable. Enter Target. I finally found a cart that's the perfect size, color and style, and most importantly, price!
